I have been in and around education my entire life!  I am a passionate life-long learner and am equally passionate about helping others in whatever way is most effective and long-lasting.  I find immense joy and beauty in doing whatever I can to help others step into their identity with confidence and excitement for the future. Being able to assist students in building the foundational skills in reading and writing through tutoring is a dream come true for me.  I am grateful to have received training in the Orton Gillingham approach, so that I have effective tools for helping others succeed in reading and writing.  My educational background includes a B.A. in Religion and Philosophy and a Certificate in Public Administration. I am currently working on completing my Masters in Library and Information Science.

My husband and I moved to Bend, OR in 2000 and still enjoy exploring its vast wilderness anytime we can!
